#1 Tip For Authentic Sales: Belief in Yourself

If you don’t believe in yourself, who else will?

If you’re new to sales, I understand how difficult it can look.

I have seen new coaches scared of selling.

Fears come up naturally when you’re doing something new. That’s natural.

As a coach, you must be helping your clients with their fears too, right?

The antidote to fear

Believe in yourself and the Universe — that’s the only antidote to fear.

When you believe in yourself and the Universe, you believe in what you’re doing and what you’re creating.

That’s how you grow your sales confidence.

Reframing your sales perspective

Do you remember the last time when a friend of yours needed a doctor or Movie recommendation and how excited were you to make recommendations?

That. What if that’s what selling is?

What if Selling = Helping people (you care about) recommend what they need?

If you don’t have a strong self-belief, you’ll keep recommending these people everything but your own coaching services.

How can you create self-belief and confidence authentically?

Start by dissociating your feelings from facts.

A hypothetical example-

Feeling: I don’t feel I’m a good coach.

Fact: I’ve coached 10 people, and 9 of them gave me 5/5 stars review.

If you feel you don’t have results, start coaching people for lower prices or for free.

Create results: for your clients and for yourself.

Store all the client feedback screenshots and results in a folder. Check this folder regularly to remind yourself of your superpowers as a coach.

Don’t fake it till you make it — that’s the opposite of authenticity.

Be open and transparent with yourself and your clients. Coaches are allowed to have bad days. Show up nonetheless.

When you see your clients getting results when they work with you… why wouldn’t you want more people to become your clients?

Other ideas to help you create self-belief

  • Making a folder of all client testimonials.
  • Affirmations and self-dialogue in the mirror.
  • Connect with your inner self. Meditate regularly.
  • Work with a coach. Don’t try to do everything on your own.
  • Connect with nature. Release the extra pressure you’ve been carrying.
  • Feel loved, loving, and lovable. If you’re single, maybe get a pet. If you have a partner, get up and hug them.
